The 10th Conference of Provincial Capital Cities Along the Middle Reaches of the Yangtze River was held in Changsha from July 28 to July 29. Officials in charge of the Party Committees and Governments of Wuhan, Changsha, Hefei, Nanchang and 12 observer cities came to Changsha to deeply learn and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, comprehensively carry out General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speeches and instructions for promoting the rise of Central China and the development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt in the new era, focus on the theme of “joining hands to cultivate new quality productive forces and advance the high-quality development of Central China”, deepen exchanges and cooperation, speed up the coordinated development of urban agglomeration, and offer better support and service for the construction of Chinese modernization.
